PENCIL BOX MADE OF CD CASES
Project Level: Very Easy
Pencil Box out of Plastic CD Cases

.............ONLY 3 THINGS NEEDED:
5 Empty CD Cases
1 Hot Glue Gun
Glue Sticks

Use four favorite CD inserts, photos, images for the 4 sides of the pencil case and put a marginal image or blank paper in the CD cover that will be used for the bottom piece of your pencil box.

I had alot of CD covers to I picked my favorites and used these 4 images for my pencil box's sides.

PUT IMAGES IN VERTICALLY, NOT SIDEWAYS!

1. You are making a box with 4 sides and 1 bottom. Do a mockup first by putting your sides on the box to see how it fits together. The box sits taller not short and squat. Are your photos in right? See where your glue is needed before you make a mess.

2. Glue two opposing sides to the base first, then glue the last two sides to the base and sides already standing.

3. Don't be cheap with the glue. Use enough to make it sturdy.

STURDY SHELF MADE FROM EMPTY PLASTIC VIDEO BOX
Mood:  incredulous
Project Level: Very Easy, Simple tools, no measuring. I USE MY SHELF TO HOLD 2 REGULAR SIZE SHAMPOO JUGS IN MY BATHROOM! Supplies: 1 Wall with NO ELECTRICAL OUTLETS! Don't shock yourself! If you do, it's not my fault! 1 Screwdriver that matches your 2 Screws per 1 Plastic Video Box 1 Hammer 1 Nail 1 Surface to pound nail into How To: Step 1. On a flat surface (I use a piece of wood on the floor),hammer the nail to make 2 holes in the back of your shelf (video box). The box should open towards you when placed on the wall. Don't place holes in the middle! Put in upper corners of the back of your shelf to make shelf the sturdiest. Step 2. Needed: video box and pencil or marking tool. Bring box to wall and place where you want the shelf to be. Using your pencil, mark the two holes on the wall so you will put your shelf up accurately. Depending on wall type, tap your nail into marked spots a little so you have a place for the screws to fit. Don't whack the nails in, lightly tap. 3. Using your screwdriver, drive the screws into your video box about half way. <<|<<)). Place unit on wall. 4. Finish driving screws completely into wall. Drive one screw most of the way, do the other til it fits snugly against wall. Your shelf unit is finished! Note: I decorated my shelf before I put it up. I used psychadelic fake fur. I hot gluegunned the fur on. That was really easy and fun to do! You can decorate how you want also. What about deccopage! What about lace and cute fabric! What about ribbon and bows! Hammer the 2 holes in first before you decorate.
